The 2021 Buick Envision is hitting the scene with an updated trim level lineup and more base power than its 2020 model. The 2021 Envision lineup includes the Base, Preferred, Essence, and Avenir models, simplifying the options compared to the five-trim 2020 model lineup.
Beneath the hood of the base 2021 Envision is a 2.0-liter inline-four engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Standard front-wheel drive models deliver 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque on the road, outperforming the base 2020 model. The base 2020 Envision is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 197 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque.
The 2021 Buick Envision is cutting wires with traditional in-car infotainment systems and is instead opting for a wireless approach. Drivers will enjoy the ease and simplicity of wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, both of which are standard features across the 2021 Envision lineup. The outgoing 2020 Envision offers Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ for drivers but a wired connection is necessary in order to utilize the systems.
