I bought my new car here a week ago. Thomas was so awesome. We started communicating earlier in the week and I let him know my situation and what I needed. I showed up Friday and he not only made me feel welcome, he had the perfect car for me. It was exactly what I wanted. My situation was not ideal and he helped me through it but was never pushy or overbearing. He wasn’t just trying to make a sale. He even watched my daughter (and bought her candy) while working with the finance team. I was truly impressed with him and all of the staff I worked with. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a vehicle.

Good mechanics and good service

We had a very positive experience buying a new 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Diesel from Richard Karr Motors. After spending a week or so on the internet building Sierra trucks on the GMC website, we found 2 very close matches at 2 different GMC dealerships in central Texas, Richard Karr and Patriot Buick in Killeen. Blaine at Patriot was very helpful and told us "buy the diesel." We hadn't considered a deisel, but the Sierra 1500 at Richard Karr was almost a perfect match. I talked over the phone with Thomas Contreras, Internet Sales Manager, at Richard Karr Motors, and gave him the Vin numbers of both trucks. He did a honest assessment of the pricing of each truck and each dealerships discounts. We drove to Waco, saw the truck, they matched extra discounts Patriot offered to sell the gas version, and were shaking hands on the sale in 30 minutes. Financing was great, no surprises, no haggling, overall a great buying experience for a substantial investment. We buy a new car once every 20 years, so we went big with the Denali. Definitely would recommend working with Thomas Contreras and the GMC website.

The service director used curse words and continued to speak negatively to describe the work he did on our Cadillac don’t understand how he holds his position he is very unprofessional! But besides that we have bought several vehicles from our sales person Thomas and recommend other sales guys as well and if you are forced to use their service dept I would suggest Leonard he was very professional and knowledgeable.
